Hadil Ghoneim

Hadil Ghoneim is the author of many fiction and nonfiction books for children including "Layaly Shahrazizi" named children's book of the year in 2020 by the Etisilat Award for Children's Literature, "Al-Ukhtayn Hana wa Shifa" shortlisted for best picture book in 2022, and “Sana fi Qena” shortlisted for best young adult book in 2014. Both "Sana fi Qena" and “Captain Shireen” were selected for the UN SDG reading club, and "Eid Milad Harf El-Dhadh” was selected for the Arabic catalogue of the Jugendbibliothek in Munich. Three of her books were among the "100 Livres Pour La Jeunesse en Arabe" selected by the BnF, IMA, and Bibliotheques de Paris.
